Stump Grinding
Tree stump removal and tree root removal services in West Yorkshire
Stump grinding is the use of a low ground pressure machine to reduce the stump and roots left from the removal of a tree to small chips which can either be removed from site or used elsewhere on the property. Grinding removes the generally unsightly stump allowing the space to be reused.
Our Tree Surgery services include;
Ground down or total removal
Options when stump grinding include taking the stump to just a few inches below ground level where it can then be covered with soil through to the total removal using a machine which is capable of grinding up to 18” below ground level. Roots can also be chased out if necessary.
Generally the grindings are left on site to fill the hole left by the works however we can remove completely all grindings and replace with top soils if required.
